Restoring Old Growth Forests

David Mladenoff (Department of Forest and Wildlife Ecology, UW–Madison) presents research on modifying young forests by incorporating the most important features of old-growth forests, creating diverse canopy gap sizes, and adding greater dead wood to the ground.
